HOW IT WORKS
There are three steps to making a Most Wonderful book.
1. The first step is content. ( you )
2. The second is design. ( Most Wonderful )
3. The third is publishing. ( you+printer )

CONTENT
As a writer or artist, you may already have the content waiting to be made into a book—a catalog of work, the pages of a novel, or maybe even a photo album that you would like to archive in a printed format. You have a dream of creating something beautiful and lasting—a book.

Most Wonderful shares that same dream, and wants to create the kind of books that people call beautiful.

DESIGN
We’ve all been told not to judge books by their covers, but we do it anyway. We judge pretty much everything we see by how it looks and feels, in return these first impressions reflect how we immediately feel about them. If a book is hard to read or navigate, or even feels too light in our hands, we might not even give the words a fighting chance. Furthermore, designing a book is more involved than just making the pages look pretty. Printers require that you format your designs to fit within their printing specifications. Everything from what size the book will be to the page color and size of the printing press are factors that drive the cost of getting a book printed.

Most Wonderful addresses issues like how much you can afford to spend on printing in addition to what you need it to look like, and ultimately who will be reading it before a pixel is even placed on a page.

Once your book has been professionally formatted and designed, Most Wonderful sends the printer-ready PDF files directly to you. You own them. It’s your book after all. The resulting PDF will be formatted and ready to send to your printer, or uploaded directly to your print-on-demand service of choice. Since Most Wonderful does not print your book, you gain control of your own printing and profits.

PUBLISHING
Now, in the twenty-first century, you can publish your own books through print-on-demand technologies, and even sell them directly from your own website. You can even go so far as print a book on your home printer and bind it yourself. You have the ability to make, promote, and sell your own books, and ultimately put a larger percentage of the sale directly into your own pocket—no contracts, agents, or publishers taking their cut.

Once your book is real, you will begin to explore ways of explaining it to other people. What’s it about? What makes it special? When your book is designed by Most Wonderful then you’ll have the added benefit of being able to call it a “Most Wonderful Book!” In addition, it will be featured on the Most Wonderful website along with a link to where it can be purchased directly from you.
